Picture Inspiration
I am participating in Picture Inspiration which started this week with Tracey Clark. I am looking forward to the weekly prompts in order to help me keep up with my photography practice. Participating in Picture Fall last year seemed to help get me out of a creative funk and I am hoping this will do the same. It seems to slide if I don't have inspiration or a project I am working towards. This first week it is all about starting out with the focus on ourselves. Self portraits are definitely challenging for me. The first is taken with my iPhone and the second with my Nikon.

You look beautiful in both portraits. I really love the top pic! I'm in a SP class too and haven't taken too many (actually I've taken a lot and deleted most!) I find it a challenge to find the time alone to let loose and B. I am definitely a woman who is not totally comfortable with what she she sees-which is why the class is a great place to be. So many women out there who feel the same yet take that leap and show their bravery & beauty through self-portraits. It's amazing isn't it?! It's amazing & so inspiring!!
ReplyDeleteI need to sign up for that!! I love these 2 photos, Celina! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSuper pictures. You were always very photogenic. That goes for now and years past. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteSelf-portraits are so tough to compose. How many frames did you fire before you settled on each of these?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! You're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI struggle with self portraits, as well. My goal this weekend is to get mine done.
Beautiful picts! I am also doing Picture Inspiration, but haven't done the self-portrait yet (sometimes turning the camera on ourselves is so hard to do!). Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteJeff, Oh at least a dozen. I was too lazy to get out the tripod so trying to handhold was tricky. :)
